I am a beautiful, overweight, Catholic, Jesus-obsessed, gay-man-loving, single, sarcastic, artsy fartsy princess type of girl living in a once happenin steel city. I’m “so Youngstown” that I act in local theatre, I graduated from Youngstown State University, I wear a bottle cap necklace, and I eat Schwebels bread with my wedding soup.
I live in my Mother’s home, but she is seldom here because she has a life. I let my dog sit on the furniture and sleep in my bed. I sometimes have deep meaningful conversations with her because she doesn’t try to change me.
It is entirely possible to be pretty and overweight at the same time. It is also possible to love Jesus more than anything and to accept gay people at the same time. I believe that everyone should have a crush because it gives you a reason to use perfume and makeup everyday.
